Episode 13: Are we really dating right now?

In the webinar I ran last week, a very thoughtful and wise participant posed the following question (I'm paraphrasing):

Given the state of the world right now, and how it's weighing on us, do we really have the space for putting ourselves out there?

A.men. While her question was directed at dating, in this episode I speak more globally about the limited bandwidth we're all feeling (myself very much included), and how to make ourselves the expert in what we are and aren't capable of right now. I also touch on the scarcity mindset/timeline fears this creates, i.e., "If I stop doing xyz, I'll be behind."

This episode is great if you're:

  • Feeling obligated to date but don't have the emotional energy/bandwidth to do that

  • Wanting to bring more authenticity to dating, both in general and during a time like this

  • Hungering for some solace and support when it comes to managing these times
